Keeping It Cool with Ice Cream

Good Morning all,
It’s Deborah here today sharing a YUMMY card with you all for our theme Keeping it Cool. Yep, with temps so hot here in Texas I thought what better way to keep cool than to share some ice cream with you all.  πŸ˜€   I hope you all are trying to keep cool, with some type of Yummy Treats.
Here is my YUMMY card –  For this card I used an ice cream stamp but I only stamped the cones all over my white card stock first, then I did the ice cream parts, fussy cut them out and used 3D adhesive to create a 3D look. I used some stickers from the sticker page from Echo Park – A Perfect Summer collection around the ice cream cones and used the little kit too, I thought it was cute. Well I hope you find some inspiration from this card. It was pretty easy and so fun to create using this theme – Keeping it Cool.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you were inspired to in making a sweet treat card for summer time. For more details regarding my card please hop on over to my blog Creative Life
Wish you all a great week.
Hugs,
Deborah xxx

A Little Birdie Told Me…

Hi everyone!!! Spring is almost here!!! Days are getting longer and a little bit warmer which has got me in the mood to create something fun  and springy. πŸ™‚ I have a card I created for this month challenge which is something  birthday related.
I stared with cutting a card base using the Sizzix Card, Scallop #3 die from Moss Green Glitter Cardstock. Next I gathered up my card stock scraps, two stickers from the Robin’s Nest: Spring Sticker and White Dew Drop  to use on this adorable card. The little birdie is from the Little Spring Birdies college sheet from Altered Pages. I fussy cut one of the bird out and added a sequin, Crystal Stickles and a little party hat that I cut from my scraps. The birthday is sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up Simple Sayings II set.

Isn’t the little birdie just festive???

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is awesome and enjoy creating!!!

Thank you theme!

Hi!  It’s Jennifer – I haven’t posted in a long time!  I’ve been busy & haven’t had much time to craft. I’ve been very thankful for my awesome design team who has done a great job with each of the themes!

So November’s theme was to do a thank you card or thanksgiving theme. I didn’t have a thanksgiving stamp so I went with thank you…
I went to the scrapbook expo yesterday (had a great time & bought way too many  goodies to play with) so I wanted to use some of my new stuff.
Here’s my card:

I used my new Tim Holtz leaf die on some suede paper from SEI. Then I cut some with regular paper and inked them with my new distress inks. Then layered with pop dots. Stamp is stampin up.

I think it needs something else but I can’t quite put my finger on it. If you have ideas let me know!!
Have you been shopping lately?
Have a great rest of your weekend!
Jennifer

Designer Beth ~ August Challenge “Polka Dots”

Hi, Beth here from The Crafty Scrap Yard!
Today, we’re sharing with you our “challenge” for this month with Crafty Card Gallery design team.

For this challenge we we’re asked to focus on:
Polka dots! Inspired by a pedicure?

Here is our card:

When this challenge was posted I knew I had to do something with ladybugs; they have dots!  When you ask people what are some of your favorite things or what type of things do you collect as a hobby sometimes you will hear “ladybugs”.

I don’t collect ladybugs myself, I’ve just always liked them.  I also liked this open window style of card.

More details about our card can be found on our blog at here.
