CHA day 1

And Welcome from our first day at CHA. My friend (and co-conspirator in the Creations by Crafty Card Gallery Magazine) and I flew down this morning and got to CHA around 2. After a quick lunch at a food truck outside we went in.

If you’ve never been CHA is the Craft and Hobby Association trade show it is like crafting heaven!  This is the show that had every craft manufacturer and product you could ever think of – and then some. It is HUGE!

So we started at row 2900 and only made it to row 2700 – the first row is 300!  We have a lot to cover over the next few days. So here are a few highlights:

Landmarks knit from yarn

A gorgeous jeweled mixer

Ok now on to the stuff you’re here for – CARDS!!!

Simple stories had some super cute paper and new products for pocket Scrapbooking and cards…

And mini albums…

Check out these super cool chalkboard stickers from Paper House

And Georgous cards with beautiful embellishments from Zva creative

Super cute embellishments from chic tags

Super cool inks and neat holographic paper from imagine crafts

Beatiful card kits from hunky dory

This ring was made with DUCK tape – can you believe it???

How cute is the inside of this card from art impressions?

And our last stop – one of our FAVORITES!!!  lawn fawn!  We loved all of their stuff!!!

We met up with some friends and them went to dinner at Tangerine Grill…  18 ladies – we gave the waiter a workout!
And then after dinner a fireworks show at Disneyland as we walked back to the hotel.  Looking forward to some classes tomorrow!  See you tomorrow night!
