Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I am here to share a card for Crafty Card Gallery blog and this month’s theme is CHA inspired. Since I had some of my projects in some of the booths at CHA and I had used digital images/vintage theme I chose to go that route with my card.
I started with a 6″x6″ piece of cardstock from the Kraft and Black Cardstock Paper Pad which I folded in half…3″x6″…to create a card base. I gathered up scraps of patterned cardstock that had a vintage, pinkish, valentinish feel. Which I cut, punched and adhered to the front of the card.
The girl image I found on Tammy Tutterow’s blog and best part it is free. I love the mischievous look on the little girl’s face. I sized the image down and fussy cut out. Next I printed out some butterfly wings that I purchased from Altered Pages and I fussy cut those out too. I adhered the wings to the back of the girl and then glued her to the card base. The wings I added a little Stickles to the wings and punched a crown out and glued to the little girl’s head. I also added flat back pearls to the crown.
I finished off the card with bits of lace and trim and a button. Also on the scalloped edge of the cardstock I added sequin and more flat back pearls. The sentiment I printed from the computer. The plan is to use this card in a Valentine’s Day card swap that I signed up for over on Instagram…fingers crossed she likes it. 🙂
If you have any questions about this card please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is awesome and enjoy creating!
Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I am here to share two little cards I created for this month’s challenge. The theme this month is trees and since Christmas is just around the corner I thought I would make a couple of cards that can be added to my Christmas packages.
I started by cutting and folding a piece of 3″x6″ cardstock to make a 3″x3″ card base for each card. I used an assortment of scraps of cardstock to decorate the base.
I used Brenda Walton’s Movers and Shapers Label diecut and the Powdered Sugar Embossing folder on some of the scraps of cardstock.
I used the Treetops Cuttlebug diecut to create these Christmas trees. I inked the green one with chalk ink and added a sequin and pearl to the top of each tree. I finished off each card with a banner and a sentiment that I printed from the computer.
If you have any questions about these cards please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is awesome and enjoy creating!
Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share my take on this month’s challenge which is birthday. I finally used my Silhouette Cameo which I have had for over a year…gasp! If I had known it would have been this easy to used I would have used it sooner.
I used the A2 Box Card Flower file to create this adorable card and let me tell you it was sooooo easy peasy to put together.
I printed Lets Celebrate from the computer and cut the sentiment out, inked the edges and snipped the end to create a banner and then adhered to a pipe cleaner.
I actually cut another set of flowers out because I wanted “more dimension” to the flowers. The second set of flowers I inked and shaped before adhering on top of the other flower. I added sequins and a flat back pearl to each center.
I love the way this turned out! It is so colorful and fun and I can’t wait to give it as part of a birthday gift. If you have any questions about this project please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is awesome and enjoy creating!
