Valentine’s Day Banner

Hi all,

Deborah here with a Valentine’s Day share. I know Valentine’s is over, but our Theme for this month is Love/Sweets so I made a banner for Valentine’s Day and thought I would share.

For my banner I used an old tag that I traced on Kraft cardstock and then cut out. I placed eyelets at the top of the tags and ran lace through each one.
Supplies I used:
Embossing folder – dots
Paper – Blue Fern – Blush
Martha Stewart Punches
Prima – frames that I sprayed with color bloom sprays – cotton candy
Buttons from Buttons Galore
From my stash – lace, white pearls, feathers are from Joanns, wooden bird,
Vellum Valentine’s Day from Quick Quotes
Reneabouquets – butterflies (just gorgeous) & Chunky Glitter Glass – Sand & Glass Microbeads – Gold
Tim Holtz – Remnant Rubs – Botanical & Apothecary and Sizzix Thinlits/TH Celebrate – sentiments die “happy”
I shaded around each tag with PowderPuff – Very Berry.

I sprayed the frame with Color Bloom – Cotton Candy to give a little pink affect.
I placed glue around the inside of the frame and then
used Reneabouquet glass microbeads – Gold and let it dry. Also used the
TH Remnant Rubs “LOVE”inside the frame. Added a feathers and a button.
Here I added a wooden bird I colored with a brown marker and added
gold stickles to the wings. I also added sentiments from the TH
Remnant Rubs and drew a heart. The white butterfly is from Reneabouquets.
I used a Prima frame and added some pink paint on the from and added some
Reneabouquet Chunky Glitter Glass – Sand on top of the pink areas.
Again I added TH Remnant Rubs female silhouette. A little pink flower
I had in my stash.
On the first tag I used Sizzix Thinlits/TH Celebrate – sentiments die “happy”
and a Vellum sentiment from Quick Quotes.
There is a heart shaped button and a little pink flower from my stash.
2nd Tag – has some feathers and heart shaped  button from Buttons Galore.

Well I hope you found some inspiration today. With Easter coming up I think this might be a great idea to use as well, don’t you think?

Thanks for joining me today and for stopping by. Please poke around our site to see some other wonderful creations my teamies made, you definitely will get inspired.

Little Christmas Elf Card

Hi everyone! This month’s theme is Christmas here at Crafty Card Gallery and I am here to share my take on this month’s theme. Also if you didn’t know there is only 36 days until Christmas. It is so hard to believe that it is right around the corner. YIKES! I have been on a quest to try and use up scraps of cardstock on projects and this is what I came up with just using bits and pieces I had laying around.
I started with a 6″x6″ piece of Red Plain Linen Cardstock which I folded to 3″x6″ to create the card base. I ran a scrap of Brick Glitter Cardstock through my diecut machine using the Spellbinders Long Classic Scalloped Rectangle die and then I embossed it with the Snow Globe folder. Next I gathered more scraps and cut into banners and adhered to the card. The little tab that sticks out on the card is actually a clothing tag that I inked the edges and covered with some cardstock, sequin and dew drop.

The little “elf” girl I found online but I can’t remember where so if I do remember I will add the link. I printed her off and fussy cut out. I cut a little pointy hat out and glued it and the little girl to the card base.

I used the poinsettia diecut and cut the flower out three times and shaped with a stylus. I glued together, added a bit of green Ric Rac and metallic thread along with a gold sequin and dew drop to finish off the poinsettia.
If you have any questions about this card please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Mini Christmas Tree Cards

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I am here to share two little cards I created for this month’s challenge. The theme this month is trees and since Christmas is just around the corner I thought I would make a couple of cards that can be added to my Christmas packages.

I started by cutting and folding a piece of 3″x6″ cardstock to make a 3″x3″ card base for each card. I used an assortment of scraps of cardstock to decorate the base.
I used Brenda Walton’s Movers and Shapers Label diecut and the Powdered Sugar Embossing folder on some of the scraps of cardstock.

I used the Treetops Cuttlebug diecut to create these Christmas trees. I inked the green one with chalk ink and added a sequin and pearl to the top of each tree. I finished off each card with a banner and a sentiment that I printed from the computer.

If you have any questions about these cards please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Autumn Colors

Good Morning All,

Well I am a new Designer here on Crafty Card Gallery . I am so happy to be a part of a great team and a fantastic site that brings tons of Ideas and Inspiration to our viewers. Thank you Jennifer for having me on board and letting me be a part of your wonderful design team. 😀

A little bit about me I have been crafting for over 20 years. I am married and have have 4 gorgeous daughters and have one granddaughter. : )  I am a dog lover and have 3, plus grandpup. (lol)
As for crafting I like card making, making mini albums, doing altered items, home decor and many other things. I hope you all enjoy my creations and find inspiration.

For my first project I made a card using wonderful fall colors, the them this month is Butterflies but I added a tree too. The little butterfly was from a facebook friend that I did a butterfly swap with this summer. She made several butterflies and then I made some for her. I thought this little yellow one was perfect for today’s card. Hope you like my card. I wanted something simple but soft.

First I stamped my sentiment then used versa mark for the tree image then used copper embossing powder on the tree image. After that I used my TH distress inks over the images. Distressed the edges of the stamped images. Dry embossed the card base.

Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you found inspiration from my card if you are working on Thanksgiving cards or projects.
Have a great crafty weekend.

Party Time

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share a card I created. This month’s theme is chocolate, cookies or sweets.  Well, since I have an embossing folder of cupcakes and I found this cupcake journal card which is from Crate Paper I thought this is the perfect combo. The cardbase measures 4″x5″ folded and the cardstock is from Craft Smith Gradients Collection.

I added a red sequin and a red dew drop to the cupcake to finish off this card. I went simple this month because of the fact that I pinched for time and for fear of loosing electricity since we got about an inch of rain which turned to ice but so far so good I still have power. 🙂

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is awesome and enjoy creating!
