Mini Christmas Tree Cards

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I am here to share two little cards I created for this month’s challenge. The theme this month is trees and since Christmas is just around the corner I thought I would make a couple of cards that can be added to my Christmas packages.

I started by cutting and folding a piece of 3″x6″ cardstock to make a 3″x3″ card base for each card. I used an assortment of scraps of cardstock to decorate the base.
I used Brenda Walton’s Movers and Shapers Label diecut and the Powdered Sugar Embossing folder on some of the scraps of cardstock.

I used the Treetops Cuttlebug diecut to create these Christmas trees. I inked the green one with chalk ink and added a sequin and pearl to the top of each tree. I finished off each card with a banner and a sentiment that I printed from the computer.

If you have any questions about these cards please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Be Strong

Hi everyone! It me, Tonya and I am here to share a card that I created. This month’s theme is butterflies and this is what I came up with.
I started by using the Scallop Card #3 diecut which I cut from Gold and Kraft and Damask cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment (from Paper Studio) onto a piece of white cardstock, inked the edges and adhered two pearl Dew Drops to the swirls on the sentiment.

Next I cut from a variety of Canvas Corp cardstocks: Turquoise and WhiteHot Pink and WhiteLime Green and White Ribbon and Blue and Ivory Mini Dot Reverse) the banners and butterflies (retired Stamping’ Up! Sizzix Beautiful Butterflies). I inked the edges of the banners and then adhered all pieces to the cardbase.

I used a 7 gypsies Photo Turn (retired) for the body of the butterfly and I added sequin and a Dew Drop for the head. If you have any questions about this card please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Friday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Lets Celebrate!

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share my take on this month’s challenge which is birthday. I finally used my Silhouette Cameo which I have had for over a year…gasp! If I had known it would have been this easy to used I would have used it sooner.
I used the A2 Box Card Flower file to create this adorable card and let me tell you it was sooooo easy peasy to put together.

I printed Lets Celebrate from the computer and cut the sentiment out, inked the edges and snipped the end to create a banner and then adhered to a pipe cleaner.

I actually cut another set of flowers out because I wanted “more dimension” to the flowers. The second set of flowers I inked and shaped before adhering on top of the other flower. I added sequins and a flat back pearl to each center.

I love the way this turned out! It is so colorful and fun  and I can’t wait to give it as part of a birthday gift. If you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Just a Note of Thanks!

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share a quick card I created. For this month’s challenge we had to come up with a thank you card.
I started with a folded 3″x6″ piece of cardstock as my base and cut a piece of typewriter cardstock slightly smaller than the base of the card.

I  dug through my mass collection of scraps and then cut various sizes of cardstock which I adhered to the bottom half of the card. The vintage typewriter is a digital image I found online and can’t remember where I found it. Just do a google/bing search for vintage typewriters and there’s a ton of images out there.

I printed and then fussy cut the the typewriter out, used a little chalk ink to give it an old look. I also cut a slit in the typewriter so I cut add the “Just a note of thanks!”(printed off the computer) in and make it look like it was actually typed out. I finished off the card with two little hand cut banners, button, sequin and a dew drop.
The hardest thing about this card is the fussy cutting. 🙂 If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

When Your Giddy Up has Got Up and Left

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share a card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery blog. This months theme is animals and this is what I came up with.
I used a pre-cut card base from K & Company’s Julianne collection. I love the fact its cut to size and all you have to do fold. I stamped the Da Vinci Horse from Stampendous! onto a piece of Vanilla Fleur Glitter Cardstock  and adhered to the top of the card base  Next I cut out the “Old Dan” horse which is a free printable from Eclectic Anthology. I roughed up the edges of the printable, added part of an old zipper along the bottom of the printable and glued to the base. I printed the sentiments from the computer, cut out my own banner, used an oval distressed metal pick to adhere both sentiments to the card. I used Dew Drops to finish up my card.

I think this is a fairly easy card to do if I do say so myself. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is awesome and enjoy creating!!!

Celebrate Big!

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya. I’m here to share a quick card I created. I cut a 4″x5 1/2″ base from white cardstock. Used scraps of cardstock and scrapbook paper I had laying around, stamped Celebrate Big on a scrap of white cardstock and inked all edges of before adhering to the top of the card. The diecut I received in a swap over a year ago is from Spellbinders but I’m not sure which set it is from???
The last thing I added was some sequins and dew drops to the banner and a tiny flower which sequin and dew drop to the corner of the celebrate sign.

This is a very easy peasy card that you can knock out in only a short amount of time. It can be used for a birthday or retirement celebration.

If you have any questions let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope Saturday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!
