Guest Designer: Susan of Susana’s Scrappin’ Corner

Thanks to Crafty Card Gallery for having me as Guest Designer today! I always enjoy being a part of Jenn’s Design team and this challenge brought out my love of stamping! We were asked to take a stamp set we haven’t used in a while and this one surely qualified. It is an old Stampin’ Up set I have and probably used once. So I googled for inspiration and found a card layout I liked. I always change the colors and an element or two to make it my own. In this case, I used the More Amore designer paper pack from Stampin’ Up. The papers are double sided and just the perfect background. My ink was Stampin’ Up’s Melon Mambo and the sparkly came from Creative Memories P.S. I Love You Embellishment Pack. The border was made with my Creative Memories Border Maker System and Frame Chain border cartridge. Here’s my card:

The dimensions I used are as follows:

4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ for card base
4″ x 5 1/4″ for heart paper
3 3/4″ x 5″ for white base for stamping

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit Crafty Card Gallery‘s page and show some love there. Until next time…..

More love…

A little bit more LOVE…
I know Valentine’s Day has come and gone
and you thought you had seen the last of the HEARTS all
over the place, well…..you almost have! I saved one of my special creations
for this week on purpose so that I may share it here @ the Crafty Card Gallery.
I can not take credit for the idea behind this Valentine Shadow box.
That goes to Debbie Moczek my Fabulous Stampin Up Consultant.
The only thing I can take credit for is the work and the arrangement of the squares.
Although, I did make a few of my squares different then the original design.
Sorry for the glare on the photo!
This was sooooo much fun to put together and she made it so easy too!
I gave it to my dear hubby for Valentine’s Day and
then asked him if I could please hang it up in my studio!  LOL
 I know…what an Indian giver……
but, I thought it would look really nice in there!
Tee Hee!

Mine was just perfect…a little of this and a little of that…just the way I like it!
