Hi everyone! I am here to share a very quick project for Crafty Card Gallery blog and this month’s theme is Christmas. I know this is not a card but since I was needing a tag for my journal I thought I would share anyways. 🙂
I started with a 8 1/2″x3″ manilla tag as the base for my tag and then adhered a variety of patterned Christmas cardstock to the base and cut several bits of ric rac, fiber, beading and ribbon and tied to the top of the tag.

I used the Stampendous Jolly Santa stamp and stamped on white cardstock and a variety of patterned cardstock (hat and holly) which I fussy cut all out. The patterned cardstock I adhered to the top of the white Santa cut out. Next I lightly inked Santa’s beard in a tan to give it a vintage look. I used chalk on the face, cheeks and eyes. I glued the image to the tag and then added Stickles to the beard, hat and holly to finish off this quick little project. I hope you enjoyed this and if you have any questions about this tag please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is awesome and enjoy creating!
Hi everyone! It me, Tonya and I am here to share a card that I created. This month’s theme is butterflies and this is what I came up with.
I started by using the Scallop Card #3 diecut which I cut from Gold and Kraft and Damask cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment (from Paper Studio) onto a piece of white cardstock, inked the edges and adhered two pearl Dew Drops to the swirls on the sentiment.
Next I cut from a variety of Canvas Corp cardstocks: Turquoise and White, Hot Pink and White, Lime Green and White Ribbon and Blue and Ivory Mini Dot Reverse) the banners and butterflies (retired Stamping’ Up! Sizzix Beautiful Butterflies). I inked the edges of the banners and then adhered all pieces to the cardbase.
I used a 7 gypsies Photo Turn (retired) for the body of the butterfly and I added sequin and a Dew Drop for the head. If you have any questions about this card please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Friday is awesome and enjoy creating!
Hi everyone! It’s me Tonya and I’m here to share a card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery blog. This month’s theme was either snow or penguins. Well, I incorporated both into my card. 🙂
I started with a folded 4″x6.5″ piece of cardstock from the Robin’s Nest.
I stamped the Penguin and verbiage onto a piece of textured white cardstock and fussy cut the penguin out and inked around the edges. I adhered scraps of cardstock and a 4″ doily to the front of the card along with the penguin and sentiment.
I added sequins, stickles and a snowflake sequins to finish out the card. If you have any questions about this card please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Friday is wonderful and enjoy creating!
Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share a card I created for Crafty Card Gallery. The theme for this month is blue and tan and this is my take on this month’s challenge.
With all the craziness that has been going in the world I just wished that we could all get along and I thought this sentiment was perfect to convey what I wanted to get across.
The base of the card is from K & Company’s Julianne card making pad. I love the fact that the base and the rubber stamp I used from 7 Gypsies are a perfect complement to each other. I used scraps of cardstock and scrapbook paper to frame the hearts which I cutout from the Sizzix Hearts and Brackets diecut. I free handed a banner for the sentiment and adhered all together.
A very quick and simple card! If you have any questions please let me know.
Supplies Used:
K & Company: Julianne Cardmaking Pad
Sizzix: Heart and Bracket Diecut
Sequin
7 Gypsies: Collections from the Journey Stamp Set
StazOn Ink
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!
Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share a card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery blog. This months theme is animals and this is what I came up with.
I used a pre-cut card base from K & Company’s Julianne collection. I love the fact its cut to size and all you have to do fold. I stamped the Da Vinci Horse from Stampendous! onto a piece of Vanilla Fleur Glitter Cardstock and adhered to the top of the card base Next I cut out the “Old Dan” horse which is a free printable from Eclectic Anthology. I roughed up the edges of the printable, added part of an old zipper along the bottom of the printable and glued to the base. I printed the sentiments from the computer, cut out my own banner, used an oval distressed metal pick to adhere both sentiments to the card. I used Dew Drops to finish up my card.
I think this is a fairly easy card to do if I do say so myself. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is awesome and enjoy creating!!!
Hi everyone!!! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share two cards I created for our monthly challenge over at the Crafty Card Gallery. The theme for this month is pumpkins and this is the cards I came up with.
Both cards bases are cut from a 6″x6″ piece of cardstock and then folded into a 3″x6″ base for each card. The first is card is very easy to make. I used scraps of cardstock, buttons, Dew Drop, Ric Rac, and I used one of those $1 stamps that you can get at Michaels and stamped jack-o-lantern on a scrap of orange cardstock. Pretty simple huh? 🙂

The next card I used
Damask Black and White cardstock for the base of my card which I inked all edges of with Martha Stewart Stem Green Chalk Ink. I also used scraps of cardstock, buttons, Dew Drops, a doily that I glimmer misted with Tattered Angels Peach Delight and the 31 is cut from Sizzix Funky Brush dies. The vintage pumpkin image (I cut the image down) I got from
Ephemera’s Vintage Garden. There are five more Halloween images that are perfect for cards too.
If you have any questions about either card please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your Friday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!
