It’s Your Day

Hi everyone!!! It’s me Tonya and I’m here to share my card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery blog. The theme for this month is either black and white or penguins. Well, I do have some penguins stamps but decided to go the black and white route.  I used the backside of the Wind Flame with Thermal Icing , Black and White Glitter Border Swirl and Black Glitter Swirl on White cardstock from the Robin’s Nest to create the base and decorate the front of my  5″x8″ card along with some other scraps I had laying around. The corset diecut is from Gina’s Designs which I painted with white acrylic paint and once dry I added extra fine glitter to the top of it. Next I added gathered lace to make a skirt and last but not least I printed out “It’s Your Day” sentiment to the card.

Super easy card to make!!! It could be used either for a bridal shower or wedding card.

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is awesome and enjoy creating!!!

Designer Beth ~ Jan Challenge “Black & White!”

Hi, Beth here from The Crafty Scrap Yard!
Today, we’re sharing with you our “challenge” for this month with Crafty Card Gallery design team.

For this challenge we we’re given the them of penguin or black and white.  I chose to use black and white as I have a penguin blog hop I’m in later this month.

Here is my design:

Let the games begin!  We love games at our house and we play them a lot especially during the holidays so this was the perfect card to make.  Bingo, Yahtzee, Solitaire are just a few of our favorites not including board games.

My teens look forward to a monthly group game night with other families each month. They are always asking which Saturday is game night, mom?  If you don’t play games regularly I hope I’ve inspired you to play a game with your family REAL soon!

More details about my card can be found on our blog at here.

Thank you theme!

Hi!  It’s Jennifer – I haven’t posted in a long time!  I’ve been busy & haven’t had much time to craft. I’ve been very thankful for my awesome design team who has done a great job with each of the themes!

So November’s theme was to do a thank you card or thanksgiving theme. I didn’t have a thanksgiving stamp so I went with thank you…
I went to the scrapbook expo yesterday (had a great time & bought way too many  goodies to play with) so I wanted to use some of my new stuff.
Here’s my card:

I used my new Tim Holtz leaf die on some suede paper from SEI. Then I cut some with regular paper and inked them with my new distress inks. Then layered with pop dots. Stamp is stampin up.

I think it needs something else but I can’t quite put my finger on it. If you have ideas let me know!!
Have you been shopping lately?
Have a great rest of your weekend!

Bon Voyage, Happy Sails!

Hi Crafty Friends! Thia here from Get Inky! Stamps by Blue Moon Creation with another post as Guest Designer for Crafty Card Gallery.
This months challenge was water, so I decided to use my BRAND NEW Sailboat Set and Whimsical Moon and Stars Set that will be released NEXT MONTH!!! Both sets are fun and versatile.

This card is a trifold card, that fits inside a business size envelope, which makes it even more unique!

The sentiment on this second fold was from a stamp that I formed into the wave on my acrylic block.
How neat is that? I love that the stamps can be used like this!
If you prefer digital images, this sailboat is available
on my website or at my Etsy Shop.
This week over at Get Inky! Challenge, the theme is Red, White, and Blue…so come link your red, white, and blue projects up with us, we’d love to see them! One Super Inky! Winner will receive a sample set of stamps, and the Top 3 Winners will receive a FREE Digi Stamp of their choice.
