Sketch Blog Hop 4/21
Welcome to the April Sketch Blog Hop. Everyone has had so much fun doing these it’s turned into a regular event! The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you’ve never used a card sketch before, give it a try! You are at the start at www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com. Grab your favorite beverage and sit back & hop along with us! Hopefully this post will go live since Blogger ate the first one…
Here’s the sketch:
So it’s our anniversary this weekend and I wanted to make my hubby an anniversary card, but didn’t want it to be too shmoopy… so i was looking for sentiments in the Silhoutte store and saw “I’d be lost without you”… which I thought was particularly fitting since I have a HORRIBLE sense of direction and hubby is always giving me navigation and/or helping me get un-lost… 🙂
So I found a map of our city online at http://printable-maps.blogspot.com/search/label/California%20Maps
And I made the card with my Cameo. Used a gelly roll pen to try to bling it up a little but wanted to keep it manly..

Oh my, your card is wonderful. I love that map paper and I cannot live without my hubby, Really I will get lost in my own neighborhood. Poor hubby always giving me instructions on how t get to where ever I'm going, even how to get back. I have no sense of direction what so ever. I'm going to have to thank hubby by making one of these. Hugs and God bless!
