Fathers Day Card

Hi All,

Happy Fathers Day!
Here’s the card I made for my Dad. I saw these Tim Holtz embellies back in February and bought them to use for a card for him.  My dad’s very mechanically inclined and I thought they would be cool.  The problem is, when I sat down to make the card I was intimidated by the Tim Holtz stuff.  There’s definitely a style to Tim Holtz stuff, and I wasn’t quite sure how to go about it…
So I googled, and found this great card:

I find that looking at others cards really helps me, that’s why I created Crafty Card Gallery… 🙂
So of course I didn’t have the dies, stamps, etc, so of course my card is different!  I like her card better, but I’m really happy with how it came out… and most importantly, my Dad liked it!  ðŸ™‚ (He’s a great Dad and pretty much thinks everything I do is good! :))  I think it’s very masculine!
