Design Team & Digis, oh my!

Some exciting news in my post today (or at least I think so – I hope you do too)

I’ve decided, after some thought & prompting, to have a Crafty Card Gallery Design Team.   If you’ve always wanted to be on a design team, here’s your chance to apply…
This will be a low pressure and no drama design team.  Crafting is supposed to be fun and that’s my goal with this design team.

What I would expect from you:

1 post a month from the time the DT is announced through
the end of 2012 (so I would need 3 posts total – one post from you for October, November, and December).
1-3 cards for the next issue of Creations by Crafty
Card Gallery magazine (will provide details closer, but will likely need cards November/December timeframe)
Commit to one week between 1/1/13 – 3/31/13
where you do 2 posts in that week.
You can use any supplies/materials, I have no rules except have fun, and it needs to be a card…

Does this sound interesting to you?
If so, send me a photo of a card you’ve
made and your blog address so I can see your work.  You do not have to have a blog to be part of the design team.  Please provide by 9/21 as I would like to post the Design Team by 9/24 to start by 10/1.

I hope to have some Digis or other fun items for you during your term, but can’t guarantee that.
Please email your submission to craftycardgallery@gmail.com
Questions? Please email me at the address above.

And other exciting news…  My nephew is a 19 year old college student with great artistic talents.  He has decided to try his hand at creating digi’s in order to raise money to help pay for his college….  So here are the halloween digi’s he’s created.  Since he doesn’t have a blog, I’m posting these for him so that he can decide how best to sell them.  If you’re interested in the digi’s, please email him at ericowensphotography@gmail.com and he will send you a paypal invoice. He’s even willing to do custom digi’s for you – how fun would it be to have a digi of your cat or of that item you want to have a stamp for?
Here are the images:

Digis are $1 each or the whole set for $3.
And a free digi for you from him:

To download digi – right click, and save image as.
I would love to see some cards made from this digi and would love for you to give him some encouragement!

And you know no post is complete without a card – so here’s a quick (10 minutes or less) card I made with one of his digis….

Printed on cheap printer paper (forgot to change out the paper in my printer) used my copic markers, and used some cute paper I had and this never ending supply of eyelash yarn I have…  I will never finish it up!  I’m not the best colorer – I definitely need lessons… 🙂
