This is Deborah from the Crafty Cards Gallery Design Team. Hope you all are having a great day.
Today I am sharing a little 3 x 3 mini album. Who here likes Heartfelt Creations??
Well if you’re like me, I bit you absolutely adore the latest release, “Sugar Hallow”. I couldn’t resist but to make something from this paper collection when I heard this months New Challenge Theme: Try Something New.
I hope you like my project and get a chance to try creating this little mini. It is so cute and makes a wonderful little gift for grandma’s, aunts, or for yourself as a little pocket album.
Here is the paper pad –
Here is my project and supplies –
For the front of the book I did fussy cutting (did a lot of fussy cutting throughout)
on the tag and owl from the collection.
The little flowers were sent to me by a friend and I thought would look
pretty on the tree.
I inked around the paper edges with Momento ink – Lilac Posies.
Here is the mini album opened
This is the first page fussy cut the tags and added a corner pocket to hold the tag.
I embossed the corner pocket with Anna Griffith – April Garden emboss folder.
Fussy the corner flower piece and the little owls on top of the next page.
I just love those little owls. 😀
Fussy cut a corner piece to hold the little tag.
A corner piece to hold the little owl ticket.
Fussy cut the flowers and placed as corner photo pieces.
Fussy cut this cute little owl with the pink flowers.
Only the bottom of the flowers are glued down, so you can
stick a photo behind this little owl.
Added this little tag piece with pop-dots for a picture or to journal. I also layered
him so he is mounted with a pop-dot.
This back piece with the owls sitting on a fence is fussy cut from a tag.
I adhered it as an inside pocket for a photo or tag.
Here are the tags that fit inside the page pockets. They measure 2 1/4 x 3 1/2.
I used spellbinders Devine Floral Die for the tops of the tags and sprayed
with Color Bloom Cotton Candy.
This is back of the mini.
Now that you’ve seen this little mini, please head over to YouTube to get step by step instructions – By TracysTreasures24 – 3×3 mini book from one 12×12 paper; placed the link below.

This months challenge theme is: Try Something NEW
I’ve been curious to try out the Fabre – Castell Gelatos, (double scoop). They come in a variety of colours and fun to play with.
When I received them in the mail – I was so excited and couldn’t wait to use them! These Gelatos remind me of those flavoured “lip-smackers”, growing up.
I decided to create a mixed media piece using a white panel canvas and Gelatos.
I just LOVE playing around with these “yummy” crayons. You can use them with several mediums to achieve the look you want. My favourite is the Glass bead glitter gel, when it dries it’s sparkly. Notice how the saying is popped out a bit, I used tissue paper, stamp and gel medium over the canvas.
Supplies: 5×7 white canvas panel/gesso/gelatos – Red Cherry, Metallic Melon, Mango, Lemon, Blueberry, Raspberry, Champagne, Black Licorice/stencil – circles/Fabre Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel/gel medium/tools – palette knife, sponge/tissue paper/Ranger Archival ink – Black/a variety of stamps/saying – Stampers Anonymous Classics #11/Fabre Castell Pitt Pens – Sky Blue/Black-medium & fine/paint pens – White-bold & fine/paint brush

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I am here to share a card for Crafty Card Gallery blog and this month’s theme is CHA inspired. Since I had some of my projects in some of the booths at CHA and I had used digital images/vintage theme I chose to go that route with my card.
I started with a 6″x6″ piece of cardstock from the Kraft and Black Cardstock Paper Pad which I folded in half…3″x6″…to create a card base. I gathered up scraps of patterned cardstock that had a vintage, pinkish, valentinish feel. Which I cut, punched and adhered to the front of the card.
The girl image I found on Tammy Tutterow’s blog and best part it is free. I love the mischievous look on the little girl’s face. I sized the image down and fussy cut out. Next I printed out some butterfly wings that I purchased from Altered Pages and I fussy cut those out too. I adhered the wings to the back of the girl and then glued her to the card base. The wings I added a little Stickles to the wings and punched a crown out and glued to the little girl’s head. I also added flat back pearls to the crown.
I finished off the card with bits of lace and trim and a button. Also on the scalloped edge of the cardstock I added sequin and more flat back pearls. The sentiment I printed from the computer. The plan is to use this card in a Valentine’s Day card swap that I signed up for over on Instagram…fingers crossed she likes it. 🙂
If you have any questions about this card please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is awesome and enjoy creating!
