Basket of Chocolates

Hey there! Thia here from Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station. For this month’s chocolate theme here at the Crafty Card Gallery, I made a paper basket (good for Valentine’s chocolate or Easter chocolate) to accompany my card.
Thanks for stopping by!

What makes me happy for Valentine’s Day? Let’s see if you can guess

Greeting all….

It is Sue B here to share my card for this month’s theme here at Crafty Card Gallery. We had a choice of Wine, chocolates, cookies or something sweet. Well of course I picked my favorite- Chocolate Covered Strawberries. These are one of the items that make me VERY happy. Not sure why I love them but I surely do. So my card today has this yummy representation of this Valentine’s Day treat. Here it is:

For this card, I used a card sketch from my Originals Card Confidence Program spiral bound book (page 18), retired CTMH paper and Stamp of the Month stamp set (A Chocolate Affair), Chocolate, Ruby, Pear and Cocoa Exclusive Ink Pads, Liquid Glass, Black Liquid pearl and White pearl paint. I ended up stamping the berries in ChocolateRuby and Pear and then fussy cutting around them. I sponged the edges of the paper with the Cocoa. The card measures 6″ x 6″ so I will have to buy/make some envelopes. I look forward to using this book (there are others as well) and making more layered cards.

Well it is time for me to scoot and go get more creative. Until next time…..

You Make Life So Sweet

Hi everyone! Welcome back for another fun card for February. This month Jennifer challenged us to make a card with chocolate, sweets or wine.
Well I tried a wine card and it just did not work. So I decided to make an ice cream card which fits into the sweet category.
For this card I used Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge and CardzTV Stamps Sugar Rush

It is an A2 size card and so much fun to make. The sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps Sugar Rush and stamped in Brown Sugar ink.

I hope you enjoyed this easy and fun card.

Have a blessed Monday!

Keep Calm and Eat Chocolate

Hello everyone!

I’m Christina, from the Crafty Card Gallery Design Team, here to share a card I created for this months challenge. Theme: chocolate
I just LOVE chocolate! Especially those little Hershey’s Kisses, they are very addictive. For this challenge I created a bigger version of a Hershey’s Kiss and made it into a card.

handmade specialty card
It looks good enough to eat. I’m a firm believer that chocolate is good for the soul. So, take the time to “Keep Calm & Eat Chocolate”
Happy Creating!
Christina

Party Time

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share a card I created. This month’s theme is chocolate, cookies or sweets.  Well, since I have an embossing folder of cupcakes and I found this cupcake journal card which is from Crate Paper I thought this is the perfect combo. The cardbase measures 4″x5″ folded and the cardstock is from Craft Smith Gradients Collection.

I added a red sequin and a red dew drop to the cupcake to finish off this card. I went simple this month because of the fact that I pinched for time and for fear of loosing electricity since we got about an inch of rain which turned to ice but so far so good I still have power. 🙂

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is awesome and enjoy creating!

February Challenge ~ “Chocolate for….”??

Hi, Beth here from The Crafty Scrap Yard!
Today I’m sharing with you our challenge for this month with the The Crafty Card Gallery design team.  For this challenge our theme was wine, chocolates, cookies or sweets.  I decided to make a design around chocolates as my husband LOVES chocolate!

Here is my design:

For my card I made a box of chocolates for my husband; I will have to make sure to pick up some “real” chocolates to go along with the card so he will be able to taste the real thing!  I like the way this turned out and how much it really looks like a box of wrapped chocolate candy.  What will you be getting your special someone for Valentine’s Day?  More details about my card can be found on my blog here.
Thank you, for joining me
May you have a sweet Valentine’s Day!
~Beth
