So my project is an explosion box. I’ve never done one before but I’ve seen a lot of great ones…. So I decided to give it a try….

I didn’t have time to make the double layers, so I only did one… But I like it anyways!
I did make a little candle cake. I used one of those battery powered tea lites, and colored it with my copic markers. I wrote Happy Birthday with liquid pearls, and used ribbon with the flowers on it around the candle to make it looked decorated.

So here’s my card…
It’s pretty simple – I found some cute vintage paper at my local scrapbook store. I thought it was cute all on it’s own. I added the letters Merry Christmas, the buttons (since buttons seem very “vintage” and the holly quilled thing (all from various packs from my stash).. And some coordinating paper on the inside..
No glitter, so I can send this one to OWH…
