I am Lisa Thorpe and I will be your Guest Designer for this week! I am a stay at home mom of four wonderful kids! They keep me very busy!!! I started doing cards about 8 years ago when I attended a Stampin’ Up party. I was amazed all the stamps. I bought a black ink pad and a hedgehog stamp set and haven’t looked back! I mostly do cards and mini name albums, and a scrapbook page here and there. I have been scrapbooking regularly since getting my first Cricut a little over a year ago! My husband says I use it way too much!!!
I am thankful to be the Guest Designer this week. I jumped at the opportunity to be one of the Guest Designers for Jennifer. I really appreciate her letting me do this! THANKS JENNIFER!
I wanted to do 3 cards this week that went together. My son turns 3 next month so I thought it would be a great idea to make an Invitation, Birthday Card, and Thank You card all with his Mickey Mouse birthday theme!!! Ok, on to his Invitation…..
I wanted to use similar papers for the invitation and thank you card. I also wanted something that I could easily make several of.
Cardstock: White, Black, Cream, Yellow and Red
Black patterned paper -Disney (Sandylion)
Blue patterned paper – Sandylion
Look Who’s…-Stamp (Message Stor)
Stampin’ Dimensionals- Stampin’ Up
Mickey Mouse and Friends-Cartridge
I hope you liked the card, and I will see you back on Wednesday to show you the Mickey Birthday Card.

January & February are busy months for me so I typically don’t do too much for Valentines day… But this year I saw this cute paper pack at Micheals & had to buy it because I thought it would make Valentines Day cards easier! I still need to make more than this card – that’s what I intend to do Friday night….
So the only cricut cut is the Love you. I cut it out & used my white gel pen… Everything else is K& Company that I got at Micheals – a paper pack & a pack of strips (the hearts). I hand cut the red border at the bottom & added lots of bling..
Super simple card! I can’t tell how good the picture looks (can’t wear my contacts right now & my glasses are on order) so my apologies if this isn’t the best picture!!!
Hubby said it wasn’t the best picture…
So here’s another…

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog for the final card in the Crafty Card Gallery Series. This is card 3 of 3. Thanks again to Jennifer for this wonderful opportunity to participate in the Gallery.
This card measures 6 x 6 and is an Easter card. I used a yellow base card which you can see through the Martha Stewart punch that I used across the bottom of the card. This card stock actually came with all this wonderful detailing and I just added some stickles across the top of the of the card and added a burnt yellow colored rhinestone in the center of the flower. The photo I used again is printed from my printer. I have purchased many CDs to use for my card creating. I took a pink coordinating pink to the back of the picture with the little chickies. I have also added stickles to the center of the flowers, I added 2 rhinestones to the daisies on the wheels and rhinestones to the edging along the bottom of the photo.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions and would love all feedback.
Hello everyone and thank you for coming back to check out card #2. This is my second card as a guest designer for Jennifer at the Crafty Card Gallery.
This card measures 6 x 6 and is a Wedding Anniversary card. The paper that I used to create this card is actually flocked card stock with the scrolled flower and along the bottom you will see a little diamond cut embossed edging, which is part of the flocked card stock. I add the”Meant for Each Other”, which is a vellum that I cut down with a waved edging and accented it with 2 clear heart rhinestones. The dove and the heart are both chipboard and accented with silver (not gold like the photo looks). I added the black embossed heart to blend in better with the sentiment. I hope you enjoy.
